The Entropia Universe is a virtual 3D environment.  It is compiled of a dynamic planetary systems which offers an array of activities, all in stunning 3D graphics. 

Today, users chooses between a few planetary locations to visit in Entropia Universe. Several new partners are in the development stages for their own territories and planets to house content for users. In the near future, users will be able  to go to a rock concert, shop online in a 3D shopping mall, meet friends etc. 

The Entropia Universe is an entirely new way for users to interact with other people. It’s all about dynamic, 3D interaction. The environments are designed to look and feel like they would as if one were actually there. Users create avatars, virtual representations of themselves. The avatars are used to participate in online activities. As they interact with others people and the environments, they evolve and develop much the same way people do in real life.

A backbone of Entropia Universe is the Entropia Universe economy with its own currency, Project Entropia Dollar (PED). The PED is pegged to the US dollar at a rate of 10 PED to the US Dollar.
